HER Citizen Stories
We want to hear from you! Too often citizenship is narrowly characterized merely by participation in elections. But in our polarized society, we must embrace an understanding of citizenship that goes beyond the ballot box. Arizona women are at the heart of the civic fabric that holds our communities together, but we often underestimate our impact. HER Arizona 250 seeks to gather stories of women demonstrating everyday citizenship.
From participating in community service to organizing neighborhood book clubs, women across Arizona are strengthening our civic culture. Help us by highlighting the contributions of a woman in Arizona history! Talk about your neighbor, friend, or a group of women — or, best yet, share your own story. As we celebrate the 250th anniversary of our country, let’s recognize how our state benefits from the civic contributions of women.
How It Works

2) Choose your Everyday Citizenship category (Heritage, Engagement, Responsibility)
3) Create your video
